USA-Latin America counterparts remain conservative about shifting apps

Large Information Technology companies in USA-Latin America and Asia Pacific are the most aggressive firms adopters of the cloud computing paradigm, while their European and US counterparts remain conservative about shifting Technology apps to the cloud computing. The average USA-Latin American company has almost two fifths (39 per cent) of its total Technology apps in the cloud computing. Asia Pacific follows closely behind with over a quarter (28 per cent). In contrast Technology, less than one fifth (19 per cent) of the average US America company’s applications are hosted in the cloud computing. In Europe, the figure is closer to one tenth (12 per cent). The findings come from an extensive study conducted by company Tata Consultancy Services involving senior managers and corporate Information Technology executives from over 600 large companies representing 16 industry verticals across the globe, reveals that while cloud computing Technology apps are still in the minority of all apps, companies in USA-Latin America and Asia Pacific have a much higher proportion of cloud computing Technology apps to total apps.
