Partners to adopt its new computing innovation tool All-in-One india

Intel India : it will be focusing on accelerating desktop growth by enabling more channel partners to adopt its new computing innovation tool All-in-One . Addressing the media, Intel South Asia sales director (west) Surya narayan B said "with the increased market interest and growth in the All-in-One segment over the past few years, we feel there is a real opportunity to enable the smaller system integrators with this form factor.


 



 "Intel therefore plans to work with ODMs and chassis vendors to develop system solutions that are designed around common ingredients, thereby creating a component ecosystem for this segment, driving manufacturing efficiencies and increasing overall volumes," Suryanarayan said. According to a forecast by International Data Corporation (IDC), All-in-One desktops are gaining traction in the desk top market, mostly driven by the consumer segment, where their share is expected to grow steadily and hit 33 percent by 2015.

 




 In the domestic market, All-in-One shipments have already been growing steadily for the last five quarters with an average of 50,000 shipments per quarter. Price decline is another factor that is boosting the opportunity for All-in-One, and more consumers are showing interest in the All-in-One form factor and touch technologies, he said.
