How can I change the guest theme ?, liferay dock, liferay permisstion, liferay drop down, liferay member, liferay control panel, portal management

Johannes Hipp : Hello,

I have created my own theme and I can choose this in the Control-Panel under Look and Feel, but this is only for my community pages. How can I change the theme for the website (guest)?

Thank you!

Johannes

Mazhar Anwar : In control panel, goto communities portlet, where you will find all available communities in your portal. Click on action for Guest community and goto manage pages and apply the look and feel for public and private pages.

Other option is to override the following properties of protal.properties.

#

# Set the default theme id for regular themes.

#

default.regular.theme.id=classic

#

# Set the default color scheme id for regular themes.

#

default.regular.color.scheme.id=01

HTH,

Mazhar

Johannes Hipp : Hi Mazhar,

thanks for reply! Where is that action button? I'm under Portal - Communities

It look's like this:

Name Type Members Online Now Active

Guest

Public Pages - Live (1)

Private Pages (0) Open 1 0 Yes

But I can't click anything.

Mazhar Anwar : Hi Johannes,

It seems permission issue, Action Button is there only emoticon

Do you have administrator role for Guest Community?

Regards,

Mazhar

Mazhar Anwar : We have one more option.Login to the portal and you will see My Places in Drop down(Liferay Dock). And on mouse over on it, you will see a list all communities you are member of and public and private pages of the community having view and edit button if you have permission.

Click on edit page button and it will take you to manage pages of that community.

Johannes Hipp : It's working over the Liferay Dock. I don't know, why there's no action in the Control Panel...

Thank you very much!
